Multi Streaming Issue

Hi All,

We have NBU 7.1.0.3 Master server on windows 2008 servers, and we have enabled multistreaming for clients in policy, despite this the backup is running in a single stream.

Kindly help.

NOTE: We get this error in parent job " Warning bpbrm(pid=1036) from client xyz-bk: WRN - ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES is not frozen "

    Can your master server connect to clients via port 1556 to determine local mountpoints?
    Master needs to connect to the client, the client then needs to execute 'bpmount' command and return the output to the master so that separate streams can be generated. 

    Please show us one of your policies:

    bppllist <policy-name> -U

    Logs needed on client to troubleshoot: bpcd bpfis bpbkar

    Have you check the storage unit allows multiple streams?

    Have you checked that the master properties to ensure the max jobs per client are higher than 1?

    If the storage tape or disk? Multiplexing on the schedule might also need to be increased depending on your answer.
