nbstlutil redo - Not working or I am not undertanding something...

I am trying to test the following command:

nbstlutil.exe redo -backupid scfbi000utl2.scfbins1.com_1405434511 -slpindex 2

When doing this command, I get the following error:

The operation redo is not currently supported for ImageCopy Type 1

The information I am able to find is quite sparse.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

  • The source image is still available.  What I did was run a backup and had SLP replicate the data.  I then ran a redo to see if it would work.  It did not.

I have other options available, but I am testing to see how SLP *really* operates...

  • Did you take a look at the following technote http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO95483 The nbstl -L command output should give you the slp index that you need to use in the command.
  • I did that earlier and here is the output.  Highlighted text is what I thought the slpindex should be.
