NBU 6.0 : bp.conf : CONNECT_OPTIONS = localhost 0 0 2
In the NetBackup 6.0 Release Impact Bulletin, page 12 is written that
the setting
CONNECT_OPTIONS = localhost 0 0 2
in the master server's bp.conf improves the system performance.
Does any one have any experience with this setting ?
Does it alter in anyway the netbackup (reserved) port settings on the master server ?
If this setting is used on the master server, is it necessary to change any (port) settings
on the clients or the media servers ?
Environment : Master server NBU 6.0, Solaris 8; NBU clients 5.1MPx and 6.0MP6
