NBU 8.3.0.1 restore to new hardware

 

 

I have restored new master server with same OS Version windows 2016 catalog restored attached new Library i500, everything works fine except restore from the old tapes backup that were taken with library i5000

 

 

here is the error

Error bptm (pid=4364) NBJM returned an extended error status: No drives are available (2001) Oct 27, 2025 1:42:21 PM - requesting resource  00V610 Oct 27, 2025 1:42:21 PM - Error nbjm (pid=1652) NBU status: 830, EMM status: No drives are available Oct 27, 2025 1:42:21 PM - Error nbjm (pid=1652) NBU status: 830, EMM status: No drives are available

    The drives must have the same density as the tapes in order for NetBackup to use them.
    You need to delete at least one drive and reconfigure it manually to match the tape density.
