NBU status: 800

Hi,

I did the Re label task but a have received errors on some of the tapes as the below…

Do you know what does this mean?

 

i know it was a windows server , but any help is appreciated.

    We need to see what you are seeing....

    Please show us attributes/properties for one of the tapes that is giving this error. Run this command from cmd:

    nbemmcmd -listmedia -mediaid <media-id> 
    (in <install-path>\veritas\netbackup\bin\admincmd)

    Then please try and label again, this time taking screen shots of each step.

    Please post output of command as well as screen shots.

    Make sure these tapes that you are trying to relabel are in the library and in the pool Win-Scratch

    Run the inventory on the robot to make sure it is up to date.

    I was doing something and had the same thing reproduced and thought of putting it here.

    If you label it from GUI it will be easy and won't give you error message but if you do it from cmd then the chances are more as it is case sensitive.

    The diffrence is very minor, I put Scratch_pool and it gave me the error message. Actually in my environment it is Scratch_Pool and when i typed it correctly it ran fine. I forgot to put the P in capital and it gave me the exact same error message.

    C:\Documents and Settings\1>bplabel -m JJD505 -d hcart3 -p Scratch_pool -host XXX

    In detailed status:

    Are you trying the label from command prompt or GUI?
    If from cmd prompt, make sure you typed it correctly as it is case sensitive.
    Please post the command here for bplabel
    Also post output for vmpool -list_all
