ndmp_data_get_state_failed, status = 18 (NDMP_XDR_DECODE_ERR)

I googled and created file NDMP_PROGRESS_TIMEOUT in the path of <install path>\Veritas\NetBackup\db\config    with 10080

another file also i created in <install path>\Veritas\NetBackup\MAX_FILES_PER_ADD with 25000 value

I tried but no use.

Please help, Thanks in advance.

The backup selections list must specify directories from the perspective of the
NDMP host.

examples:
/home/dir1/
/vol1

Only directory or volume names are allowed.

Did this backup work anytime?I suspect your backup selection is wrong.

We need to see exactly what you are using for your Backup Selections.  I too use Isilon and went through hell to configure the backups.  You don't find much about Isilon NDMP on Google.  If I had a /ifs/data mines would look like this:

SET EXCLUDE="/.snapshot"
/ifs/data

This would backup everything in /ifs/data and exclude .snapshot

Last month i took fullbackup for these streams.

This month only the Issue came.

Quoting the possible resolution:

"I was getting the same error trying to do NDMP backups from the netapp filer, I was able to resolve this issue by disabling jumbo frames on the NIC, if you go to the NIC properties and then click on configure you should see options to adjust things like performance options, power save options and jumbo frames, disable the jombo frames."

I took fullbackup successfully for last month. this month only got the error.
