Net backup install

Hi all,

I installed an earlier version of Net backup, 9.0.0, as I discovered that we had spare licences that we had never used. I have a need to backup vmware vm's in our environment.

I had help from Veritas getting the licenses and the registration keys for the install. I was hoping for a graphical interface to start working with but could only see a java i/f that would not launch. Probing the install directories  I could again see nothing that could be used to start configuring the application to point to a vcentre or individual vm's. How could I take this forward? Seems like this might be a lot of effort when compared to an alternative provider like Veeam or Altaro whose products just work.

Any advice please?
