  • MFA using a pre-existing key -

    Appliance (non-Flex):
    Settings-->Security-->Authentication-->MFA
    Configure
    If you are reusing an existing QR secret key, type “yes” when prompted

    Flex instance or BYO:
    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/nbmfacfg -enroll -secret xxxxxx

    Flex node:
    set user mfa
    If you are reusing an existing QR secret key, type “yes” when prompted

      Flex instance or BYO:
      /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/goodies/nbmfacfg -enroll -secret xxxxxx   does work but we need to implement this for hundereds of people who do not have CLI access. I would like to see the option in the webui, just like it is for Flex

      Right now how do you do that for a NBU master instance that runs on flex?

  • I see that in NBU 11 there is still no option to use a custom key when configuring MFA. is this on the road map? it is available on the Flex webUI but not netbackup... https://www.veritas.com/blogs/multifactor-authentication-made-easy-with-flex-appliances
