Netbackup 7.0 upgrade with Clients at 6.5x
We are curretly in the planning stages to upgrade to 7.0. My question is that if we upgrade to 7.0 and keep the clients at 6.5.3 are we still able to fully utilize the new features of 7.0?

- what feature you are looking for.
let say for regular backup/restore of flat files nothing really changed since 6.x, but for some app/db related backup you can find a lot of improvements.
check the Release notes: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/340098.htm - Thank you for the information. I've reviewed the new features. I need to know if we don't upgrade the clients to 7.0 right away, will some of the new features not be available to us?
- if feature A was implemented in version 7 of client, but not previous version, it won't be available without upgrade.
