Netbackup 7.6 view fail job contents
If backup job fail after backuping some data. Can we view the contents of fail job and is it possible to delete these content to free spce on tape cartridge.
- If failed job is the only one going to particular tape, then entire backup will be discarded and overwritten by next backup. If failed job is part of multiplexed backup where other jobs were successful, the space used by failed job cannot be reclaimed or overwritten. Only when all backups on tape have expired can tape be overwritten from scratch.
