Netbackup 7.6 with VMWare 5.5 any advises ?

I'm looking to upgrade my Netbackup 7.5.0.7 on Windows server to 7.6 and our VCenter's are on 5.5.

Do you have any advises before I launch the upgrade?

    Summary: Will be supported fully in 7.6.0.2 release.. coming soon.. but an early patch for 7.6.0.1 release addressed support for vSphere 5.5 (ie a vCenter Server 5.5 and ESXi 5.5)

    Hi, Please check sort.symantec.com for all neccessary requirements before proceeding with the updates.

    Also ensure your catalog backup are up to date.

    Hi,

     

    Downloaded 7.6.0.2, but when combining the 2 CLT files and untaring i get the following error:

    root@noc-netbackupM # ./NB_update.install

    ERROR:   Missing required server files in /usr/openv/NB_7.6_Sparc/NB_7.6.0.2/NB_7
             .6.0.2_CLT:

             VrtsNB_7.6.0.2.README
             VrtsNB_7.6.0.2.postinstall
             VrtsNB_7.6.0.2.postuninstall
             VrtsNB_7.6.0.2.preinstall
             VrtsNB_7.6.0.2.preuninstall

     

    Anu idea why.
