Netbackup 8.2 Linux client remote installation

Hi Everyone,

Would appreciate anyone can provide advise how to resolve Netbackup 8.2 remote client push installation with error :

EXIT STATUS 103: error occurred during initialization, check configuration file

I run the following command:

./install_client_files ssh client_hostname

Follwoing is the screen shot after issuing the command:

Master server "master-server-hostname" is configured to use NBCA.

    Hi Jonsze 

    According to the logs that you send us above I saw to error messages.

    1-Checking for required system conditions...
    /tmp/bp.4113/openv/netbackup/client/Linux/RedHat2.6.32/nbcheck returned exit status 127.

    For this take a look this article, is similar to your case. It suggest as solution verify the permition on /tmp.

    Linux Client Upgrade fails EXIT STATUS = 127

    Did you check the communication between master and client? Any problem with Netbackup TCP ports?
