Can any one explain me that the NetBackup is Three tier or four tier architecture and also explain Why?

It can be 2 or 3. If you run a Master/Media server and clients its 2 tier. If you ran a Master Server, Media servers, and clients, its 3 tier.

If you have master, media and client its 3 TIER (previousy associated with Veritas NetBackup Enterprise Server)
IF you have master and clients only its 2 TIER (previousy associated with Veritas NetBackup Business Server)
