NetBackup CA
Hi,
we have recently installed NB 8.3, on Linux as the master server. During installation of Media server and client, it asks to use CA. My question is can we skip CA during the installation, and if so is there any risk in Backup and Restores, not using Certificate Authority?

starting 8.1 , host-id based certificate is must for secure communication b/n master and other servers. u have to install the certs in order to continue backups. refer to below link
