Netbackup Client "Error Installation Failed"

We have recently moved to NBU 7.1 and I'm in the process of installing the 7.1 client on several Windows servers (2003/2008) and I'm testing the install on some of our DR boxes before pushing the install to the remaining servers.

 

When running the setup.exe from the CD

NetBackup_7.1_Win\PC_Clnt\x86 or x64

I'm getting "Error Installation Failed" once clicking on ok, the installation finishes and is ok, but this isnt going to help me much as I was going to use the slientclient.cmd installation for the remainder of servers that require the newer client and I would prefer not having to log onto all of our servers and click ok for each of these install.

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, checking event logs (nothing)

I have looked around on forums and the net, doesnt seem too many people have this problem.

Any help here would be greatful.
 

I have also logged a call with Symantec, but thought the forums might be quicker response...
