Netbackup client installation on solaris local/non-global zones
We have Oracle databases running on Solaris local zones. This is a sparc hardware and Solaris version is 11. We are at NB version 8.x . What are the pre-install steps to follow on a local and global zones. And I noticed on a local zone where we already installed NB client, one strange thing while RMAN user initiated backup is running a local zone doesn't report any extra client processes other than the default start-up processes. However when I run OS backup from NB server i can see bpbkar running. Are we missing something?
