Netbackup Deduplication & Disk Pools
I'm just trying to understand if this is supported:
Currently have a Windows 2008 R2 server running Netbackup 7.5. It has an existing Netbackup Puredisk pool configured. Instead of messing around with volume expansion etc, I would like to add another volume as a deduplication point on a media server. Netbackup throws an error when trying to add another disk pool (dsm has found that already exists in the database netbackup), and there is no option to add another volume for Puredisk.
Can I only have one disk pool and volume per media server?
Lun size can be expanded without Symantec's assistance.
