Netbackup licensing Oracle servers

The Oracle database is installed on the physical server. Do I need to buy a standart or enterprise (if i want backup over SAN) agent  for backup Oracle Database?

    Hello,

    if you have traditional licensing, you need:

    NetBackup Enterprise Client (for backup over SAN)

    NetBackup DB&APP Pack (for database backup)

    Both licenses must have also proper Tier according to your number of sockets. Contact your Veritas sales rep.

    if you have capacity based licensing, no additional license is required supposing you dont exceed licensed source capacity.
