Netbackup Policy Configuration for Oracle 11gR2 RAC

Hello,

I have some confusion with creating oracle RAC policy with NBU.

One of my colleague suggest to create 2 different policies.

1. with SCAN name with backup schedules for daily,weekly,monthly.

2. with all nodes VIP names which would be actual backup job of type application.

Now, my question is why we have to create 2 different policies and why we can't do this in one policy as we did for non-oracle RAC policy?
