netbackup sharepoint agent

Hi all,

 

My company is going to deploy the sharepoint system. We have 2 WFE, 1 Index and 2 DB. In order to use the Granular Recovery, what is the minimum number of netbackup sharepoint agent  I need to purchase?

Moreover, it there any documentation I can know more about the netbackup sharepoint agent and Granular Recovery>

    License requirements:

    If SharePoint is deployed on a single, standalone machine, only 1 license is required
    Otherwise, for a multi-server farm:

    • 1 license covers all f ront-end web servers, including load-balanced web servers
    • 1 license is needed for each SQL Server
    • 1 license is needed for each Index Server
    • Do not exceed 1 license per machine

    Thanks for your answers.

    I still have a question. We are going to implement MS-SQL clustering with the two DB servers, so in this case we need 1 license or 2 licenses for the DB servers?

    NetBackup licenses (servers, clients, agents, and options) are required for all nodes of a cluster.
