I would like to know if somebody has been faced with this problem.
Network initialization Failed. rc=3997697
I am workning on BMR with a Master server on Windowsserver2008 R2 and Netbackup version is 7.1. The client where i try to recovery is blank HDD.
Any reason why you still running 7.1 ?
I would personally NOT use BMR in an environment for which I have no support from Veritas.
The error that you are seeing is related to the NIC drivers in the SRT that you are using.
Could you please share all steps that you have followed to prepare for BMR restore?
