Not able to configure new NDMP host

so did you configure the tape Drives for new NDMP host?

without tape drive configurations you can not see the NDMP host name in the new Storage unit.

I'm trying to configure the tape drives by creating new STU and want to select new NetApp box. If i'm wrong please correc me.

and if i execute syconfig -t from NetApp box its showing as "No tape drive present now", is this is the reason i'm not able to configure in NetBackup end?

before creating the storage unit you need to configure the tape drives in netbackup

from netbackup media server

run the below command and see if it listing any tape drives or not, if not you need to look for the tape drive zoning.

tpautoconf -probe <filername>

You are asking me to configure from Wizard right ?

and for the O/P i did previosuly its not giving the correct O/P, even though i ran "configure Storage devices" from wizard.

on the filer is the starting point: you need to see your four drives. Then you can think about netbackup using them. If not visible then you need to check the  (fibre) config ie zoning most likely.

Just want to now is there any other command to check the probe in 7.5 for NDMP? and Netbackup 7.0 is compatable with NDMP NetApp Release 8.2P6 Cluster-Mode?? why because we are able to see the Tape drives from NDMP 7 but not able to see from 8 with cluster mode or probe them.
