Oracle DB backup over NFS taking long time

Hello All

I am looking for a solution as my Oracle DB backup is over NFS  RMAN based backup taking longer time compared to block level backup 

is there any fine tuning is possible for NFS based file system in RMAN based backup

    Hello,

    you are talking about Copilot solution where you are performing incremental merge backups on the NFS share? The only thing I know about is engaging Oracle dNFS (required short db downtime if not yet configured, refer to Oracle documentation).
