TECH136792 is quite clear about  When and how to clear the NetBackup host cache

TECH50198 is equally clear about troubleshooting hostname lookup.

1...What are NBU Persistent process and  NON PERSISTENT process and examples?

So ask yourself this:

"If the above is one of the dictonary definitions of 'persistent', then what sort of process(es) would conform to these criteria?"

By the same token, which process(es) would you not expect to see conforming to this definition?

so here it means all running processes will also be updated with bpclntcmd_clear_host cache command in 7.1?
