Policies are not picking up desired media server

Hi,

I have configured one policy in which I have added one strorage unit which has one media server only. But now, when the job is running I can see that job has not picked up the storage unit which is mentioned in the policy but another storage unit and hence another media server.

 

Any suggestions why this is happening and how I can prevent it?

Backups are going on tapes and multiplexing is enabled.OS is windows 2008 R2.

    That should not be possible. Maybe the GUI needs to be refreshed.

     

    Check from CLI to see what is really configured.

     

    bppllist "policyname"

    In the schedule for the policy, the STU is set in the first 'Attributes' section.

    However, in the schedule, there is an option to override this - check that this has not happened.
