    But you could monitor it with a 3rd party software like maybe Tripwire.

    If your good at scripting then perhaps you could at least check to see what changed on a given day within the .../db/class directory.
  • I was able to set up NOM and saw policy change history (versions of policies) but no indication of who changed it. Also generated report on policy list and found out that there is a field which is "Modified by" but there is no value when the report is generated. Not much help from NOM Getting Started Guide, are there any other NOM docs out there?

  • I don't know of any other NOM docs, but if you go to
    http://support.veritas.com/menu_ddProduct_NBUESVR.htm
    and put NOM in the search engine, it will return 28 links to ancillary documentation including more specific details including problems and solutions that are currently being experienced. Also I suggest reading the maintenance pack README.
