Quantum Scalar i500 Tape Library

Hi,

If I'll be adding Quantum Scalar i500 Tape Library, I just need to use the Device Configuration Wizard, right?

Can you include some best practices?

    There is no 'best practice ' for NBU and this library specifically. As long as you check the Hardware Compatibility guide and follow Quantum product documentation to install and add library as well as tape drives to server(s) and OS, all should be fine. Ensure devices can be seen by OS and NBU 'scan' command, then run Device Config wizard. You may also want to read the chapter for your OS in Device Config Guide as well as the section in NBU Admin Guide I about adding robot and tape drives.
