Question about forced rescan
Hi all,
Using nbu 7.6 as master/media server, and Windows2k8 client.
A CIFS share (30 million files) is backed up with Accelerator enabled.
I can see forced rescan is automatically used for some backups, even I don't enable it in the schedule.
Is it a bug?
- The behavior is expected! If the Windows volume is not NTFS or ReFS, and the volume has no full backup schedule that is configured with the Accelerator forced rescan option, NetBackup uses Accelerator forced rescan on every full backup. You should create at least one schedule with "accelerator forced rescan" checked, even if it is not used.
