Reccomedations for New Installation

Currently have a 600 client mostly unix/linux based netbackup 5.1 MP4 environment. Recently purchased BMR and was wondering if anyone had thoughts related to when we should deploy this product. I would minimally like to wait for 6.0 mp4 but would really like to wait until 6.5 is out and just begin using the product while it is fully integrated with netbackup. Higher ups are already suggesting I deploy this software before the end of this year for reasons concerning their own accountability. Any thoughts???
