required permissions to run rman script on windows
Hi ,
i have a netbackup agent installed on windows server using local system account
what permissions should i add to oracle db to allow this user to run the rman script
located on the client , in current enviroment , we are running netbackup services using the Active directory account of oracle database administrator
The rman script used in policy are attached . when i try to change netbackup services to run with local system account , backup fail with status code 29
- LocalSystem account has absolutely no Oracle rights.
NBU Client service account needs to run as Oracle database administrator.
I'm pretty sure you will also find this requirement in NBU for Oracle manual.
