reuse lsu with New NBU server ( New hostname) ?

Hello

Can NBU reuse lsu with New NBU server ( New hostname) ?

Just like CRS with fast import .

    Hi DerekHsueh 

    The CRS is a standalone system to recover the images from an existing LSU. You can read from but not update the images in the LSU. 

    So if I understand what you are asking, it is not possible to attach an existing LSU to a new media server and expect to be able to extract the existing images. 

    This may be possible using Veritas consulting support.

      My test result , ( as a reference )

      1. CRS , hostname same to Original NBU , can recover the images from an existing LSU.

      2. CRS ,hostname not same to Original NBU , can recover the images from an existing LSU.

      3. CRS , only connect to one LSU (one cloud storage).

      4. CRS , can't not connect to multi LSU (multi cloud storage).

      5. DR NBU (not CRS) , hostname same to Original NBU , can recover the images from an existing LSU.

      import OK , I refer to the manual "NetBackup 1011 Dedupe Guide" , About to the disaster recovery for cloud LSU.

      6. DR NBU (not CRS) , hostname not same to Original NBU , can't recover the images from an existing LSU.

      import error.
