Schedule naming for Parent and Child jobs for RMAN and SQL jobs

My DBA group wanted to only be notified if Parent jobs failed, not for each child job that failed, so I renamed all my schedules so the automatic schedule which starts the job is called "schedule.Parent" for schedule of daily, weekly etc. and named the Application Backup schedule it calls as Child.Job, and exclude that from my alerts and emails.

Is that how you accomplish this, or do you care?

What do you think?

Should we be able to do something like this for multistream jobs as well?
