snap shot failure with 71 error

Backup for the windows client is failing with error code 71 , below is the error , it multi data steaming with backup gonig on disk.Backup selection ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES.

TRV - o object not found for file system backup: Shadow Copy Components:

7.1.x and Earlier
Backup and Recovery
NetBackup
Windows Server (2003-2008)

    NBU 6.5 ran out of support a year ago.
    Lots of fixes in NBU 7.1.0.3 and later.

    Verify that VSS is selected for WOFB. 
    In NBU Host Properties -> Master Server -> Client Attributes -> add/select Client name. Check WOFB tab.

    Check status of VSS writers on client: vssadmin list writers

    Also check that you have latest Microsof hotfixes for VSS installed on W2003 client. 
    This is one of the newest VSS hotfixes : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940349

    What is OS and patch level on client?

    Which NBU version and patch level on client?

    There are LOTS of TN's available, but most of them are specific to OS and NBU version.
