Snapshot Error Encountered(156)

We have a netbackup 6.5 and recently, I notice there are lots of backup failure for 1 of our servers. From the job details, it show a snapshot error(156). Below is the job details. Based on the job detail, what could be the possible cause of this problem?

  • Firstly, de-select  'Collect disaster recovery...' in the policy attributes and retry the backup.

    If it still fails, tell us more about this client:
    OS version (including patch and bit level)
    NBU version and patch level

    Create these log folders on the client for further troubleshooting:
    bpbkar and bpfis

    PS: Please upgrade your environment ASAP as NBU 6.5 reached EOSL in Oct 2012.

  • Firstly, de-select  'Collect disaster recovery...' in the policy attributes and retry the backup.

    If it still fails, tell us more about this client:
    OS version (including patch and bit level)
    NBU version and patch level

    Create these log folders on the client for further troubleshooting:
    bpbkar and bpfis

    PS: Please upgrade your environment ASAP as NBU 6.5 reached EOSL in Oct 2012.
