Standard Policy Netbackup

Hello,

Is it possible that a standard (cliente Linux) policy after backing (/backup/log) up example 10 log files can delete them to free up space?

If so, how can I configure?

    Hi
    It is doable. Schedule Type is user archive and it have to be called from client end via bparchive command. Before implementing it do some Reading about it...

      If your scripting is good, then you can also use the bpend_notify script on the client to remove files (or perform any operation you want more to the point). This script runs after the backup completes on the client (but not necessarily before all data is written to disk/tape). 

      More details are on the use of the script are available in the NetBackup Admin Guide Volume 2.
