    Try to ping your client from Master & media, it should be reachable from both servers.

    Then try to test connectivity from both master & media server using bptestbpcd command

    On your client machine create bpcd log folder and paste logs here.

  • NetBackup uses port 1556 between server and client. This port needs to be open in both directions. Firewall timeouts can cause status 23 on long running backups.
