The service user account does not have the write permissions on the specified path.

Environment

I noticed the subject issue in both environments mentioned in the above table. The directory gets deleted from the NetBackup Master Server after some time. I have to create the folder and set the permissions on the folder mentioned in the square under below snapshot

Permissions
chown -R nbsvcusr drfile 
chmod -R  755 /mnt/drfile

    I think this works as per design. If you want to preserve this directory it has to be stored/kept within /mnt/nblogs or /mnt/nbdata on primary flex instance, not just under /mnt...

    Test this out...

  • as quebek​ mentioned this is as per design.

    In Flex appliances, it uses container to lunch master and media instances so everytime you reboot everything gets erased, except a few locations.

    you should not save your DR files on master server (I know you know this) but if you like to save it there.you should take above tip.
