Unable to delete decommed media servers

I did some research and nothing I found helped.  the tech note in one forum message was not relavant.  Here is my situation.

gti0s057n2[/etc] # nbemmcmd -listhosts | grep dss0s20
media           dss0s203
media           dss0s201
media           dss0s202
gti0s057n2[/etc] # nbemmcmd -deletehost -machinename dss0s201 -machinetype media
NBEMMCMD, Version:6.5.6
The function returned the following failure status:
generic EMM SQL error (193)
Command did not complete successfully.
gti0s057n2[/etc] # nbemmcmd -deletehost -machinename dss0s202 -machinetype media
NBEMMCMD, Version:6.5.6
The function returned the following failure status:

Command did not complete successfully.

I tried adding fake entries in the hosts file, but that did not help.  I've checked and there is nothing for these servers from running vmglob.  There are no tapes assigned that I've been able to find, there are no drives, no policies, no storage units, etc.  Just on a whim I'm running bpmedia -movedb just to see if that cleans up anything to allow these to be removed.  To be honest I'm not expecting that to help.

    Check if the media servers are in a media sharing group and remove.

    Hi Stuart,
     

    If what you are refering to is the server groups under the devices section of the GUI, no we don't have any server groups at all.  Like you I have dealt with decommed media servers for a long time, and I'm just not seeing any reference to these three anywhere but in the EMM list hosts.

    Create directory /tmp/unload

    Go to /usr/openv/db/bin/ and start dbadm. Type in password - default is nbusql.

    Change directory to /tmp/unload

    Pick option 6 , unload database.

    Pick option 2 Data & Schema.

    Now you can grep (or findstr if you are on windows) after the server name in the /tmp/unload directory. It should give some sort of indication what references the EMM database still holds.
