Unable to delete Disk Pool from Master Server

Hello, i am trying to delete the Disk Pool from our Master Server but its givin an error: Unable to process request because the server resource are busy. DSM has found that an association still exsists between storage unit and the disk pool:Netbackup_StorageUnit==Netbackup_Disk_Pool(PureDisk)@Domain Name. can u please help me out to resolve the above issue, kindly send me the steps to resolve the issue. Thanks Abdul Rauf

  • We ran across this issue a couple months back and after logging call with support, a stop and restart of Netbackup resolved the issue.  This for NetBackup 7.7.1.    After the restart we were able to delete the disk pool without issue.

        I have shared another TN 2 weeks ago:

        If you did not follow the steps in the correct order, there could be orphaned entries left in EMM database.

        If this is what happened, you will need to log a Support call with Veritas. 
        Thwy will ask you for a dump of EMM db's, after which they will provide you with a SQL script to delete orphaned entries.
