Upgrade Netbackup 7.0.1 to 7.5 (Netbackup 7.0.1 and Vault 7.5 acquired)

Hi

I, currently, owned licenses of Netbackup 7.0.1 and Netbackup Vault 7.5.

I'd like to ask if i am allowed to upgrade Netbackup from 7.0.1 to 7.5 by using just my acquired licenses.

And if it's possible, can I use all the features that version 7.5's got.

    Hi,

     

    If you're currently up to date with your support/maintenance contract then you're able to upgrade your licenses and download the latest version of the software so you can install it. If you're not, then you cannot upgrade your licenses, and can therefore not avail new features, but you can continue to run what you have.

    Thank you for your information. What if my support contact is still not expired yet, do I have to purchase license for Netbackup 7.5 for this case, or I can obtain license 7.5 for free for the upgrade?

    NBU 7.5 licenses are free when your maintenance is up to date. 

    You will be able to get your 7.5 and 7.6 licenses on the Licensing Portal.
