Upgrading master server to 64 bit Redhat from 32 bit Redhat
We are going to upgrade to 6.5.3 from 6.0mp4. We are currently running on 32bit Redhat ES4.0.
We want to upgrade to Redhat ES5.0 64bit. If we install a 64 bit OS on a new server, install nbu 6.5.3
and then restore the catalog from tape using bprecover, will that work???

install nb on rhel5 with the same hostname
restore catalog database
it should work
you cannot simply move /usr/openv from rhel4 to rhel5 because on rhel4 is using binaries for 2.4 kernel, on rhel5 for 2.6
