used auth.conf but still can't execute on Java Console

Hi...
I used file auth.conf and for example : company\julkipri ADMIN=AM+BPM
so julkipri can logon used NetBackup - Java Version 6.0 and only show Activicity Monitor and Menu Policy.
if  open Policy Menu, can't run the policy. Because not superuser.
I know because julkipri, isn't local administrator group.
The problem are our customer very restrict, and they don't want like that !!
But they still want his staff can open console, status and run the policy.

Any suggest, please help me..

Thank You.
kipri.

  • add this to your auth.conf -

    <username> ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL

this will provide full access to NetBackup for username mentioned in file. Make sure username you are adding is a alredy defined at OS level.
  • I know that...
but if the user only domain user or user local, can't open the menu (ex. policy) and can't right click the policy for manual backup.

do think if the rules ADMIN=ALL JBP=ALL can execute / run anything ?

    sorry my english..

    thx
