Veritas IO filter vSphere Installation Bundle
does anyone know where to get the Veritas IO filter vSphere Installation Bundle to install it on the vcenter and esxi hosts to configure CDP ? or is it a bundle I get from vmware ? as I am stuck in the prerequisites steps:
Before using a Continuous Data Protection enabled protection plan, complete these prerequisites.
- Ensure that the Veritas IO filter vSphere Installation Bundle (VIB) is installed on the ESXi host cluster. Requires to be done only once.
- Create a VM storage policy using IO filter, and attach the storage policy to each disk of the VM.

Depending on the NBU and ESX version there are a few different versions
Just Google for "netbackup scl", first Hit and go to the SCL, select your NBU version eg 10 .x html, then CDP, the vmware.
There are 2 links for each NBU version, one for ESXi 7.x and the other for 8.x.
For example, a ver for 10.4/7x and 10.4/8x, 10_3 and so on..

As mentioned in above post, just go to software compatibility list for your netbackup version and search for continuous data protection.

You need to install it on all esxi on you vmware cluster, you can do that by pushing it via vcenter or you can do it on specific esxi host(obviously you will have to create storage policy only on that esxi host)
