VmWare Restore failed with NBU VMware policy restore error (2820)

The master (Linux) and the Netbackup backup host (Windows 2008) running on NetBackup 7.5.0.1. We have vpshere 5

problem; VMware policy NBU restore error (2820)

When I do a restore in which I explicitly the storage pool and restore the storage configuration DRS presume then the restore works fine.

But once I take the datastore for (silver) and the DRS configuration storage, aborts the restore.

any ideas

  • We have always tried to restore via the san. It does not work.

So we did the restore using the Restore network I.O.
