Unable to access NSS through web browser

When logging in to NSS we receive an error within the internet browser as follows:

The page is not redirected correctly

Firefox detected that the server redirects the request for this address in a way that will not succeed

I have tried different browsers and issues are the same and tried clearing cookies without success, I have a second NSS instance which I am able to access, this this is possibly something within IIS, but not sure where to look.

Any advice greatly received.

    Thanks for your query.

    It would seem there is another component or setting that is performing a redirect.

    I would suggest first attempting a 'localhost' browse of the NSS system on the web server itself.  This should reveal whether the issue lies with an external component (proxy server, some kind of DNS issue).

    If the problem persists, you can look at actual redirect settings in IIS (IIS can redirect itself).  Then, if no redirect settings, look at the SSL configuration - have you specified a hostname for the binding?  What happens if you remove the hostname in the binding?
