OpsCenter Data collection failed/not started

Hi All/Experts,

I facing error for OpsCenter for data collection status. There are two item failed status,

Sub Jobs = Not Started

Virtual machine = Failed - [Nbsl/Agent communication exception]: Data collection failed for proxy server : vcenter1 ,

This is for OpsCenter 7.6.

  • Rookies,

Check your VM Access Host lists...

Open the NetBackup Admin console for the master that is failing...

    1. Click Host Properties > Master Servers, double click the NetBackup master server, and clickVMware Access Hosts.

    2. Is VCENTER1 listed?

    3. If so, remove it, and cycle data collection within OpsCenter...

    4. If data collection completed, readd vcenter1

    5. Enter the fully qualified domain name of the VMware backup host, and click Add.

    6. When you are finished adding hosts, click Close.

    7. Click Apply and then OK.

    8. Cycle Data Collection.

  • Thanks! it works. But about data collection for "SubJobs"? I saw your previous solution from here https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/how-enable-subjobs-opscenter-75 , is it apply for 7.6 version? You mention "Enabling the Breakup Jobs option increases the load on the master server and the time it takes to gather and load data in OpsCenter." Should I disable it for default?
