SLP dedupe report

Has anyone had experience with creating Storage Lifecycle Policy reports?

We are running Netbackup 7.5.0.4 and OpsCenter 7.5.0.4 (Build 20120916).

When we go to OpsCenter -> Reports -> Storage Lifecycle Policy -> SLP Backlog it doesn't show anything.

We do the SLP Status and it does show, but not for the dates we were looking for.

Right now on our Datadomain we have a 28 day retention policy, not sure if that comes into play.

Basically we are trying to get a report for a dedupe job that was ran for a client back in May.

Thanks for any help.

  • Unless you are using OpsCenter Analytics, the basic OpsCenter does not hold history for more than 60 days:

If you are using OpsCenter Analytics, and if you have only recently started using it (say, since Sep), then it wouldn't have collected the data that existed back in May.

Lastly, unlike the status report, the backlog report is not "real time". It is updated at midnight every 24 hours, according to the OpsCenter admin guide.

  • PoliceMan51,

In addition, if you upgrade to Analytics, you can report on data older then 60 days.

The data is not purged after 60 days, even if you do not have an Analytics License.

The default data purge is 420 days for jobs, and 90 days for SLP image data (not to be confused with job data)
