Solution to encrypting, decrypting, the re-encrypting data.

From what I understand with PGP I cannot simply transfer all of the data stored on my 200gb HD to my new 1T HD using Ghost without first decrypting it and then re-encrypting it on the other end. Is there a way to do this and avoid the painstakenly long re-encryption proccess? I am new to using Ghost and was just thinking there had to be an easier way to transfer everything. Thank you.
