SFHA Solutions 6.1: Symantec ApplicationHA available

Symantec ApplicationHA is available as part of the Storage Foundation and High Availablity (SFHA) 6.1 release.

Benefits to the consolidation of ApplicationHA and SFHA installation media include:

• ApplicationHA now supports keyless licensing. To use  keyless licensing, you must install Veritas Operations Manager (VOM) Management Server in your datacenter.

• ApplicationHA supports the deployment server method that centralizes and simplifies installation and licensing of multiple SFHA stack components. For details, see the Symantec ApplicationHA Installation Guide.

ApplicationHA 6.1 documentation for the following environments is available on SORT:

• Linux in VMware and KVM
• AIX in IBM PowerVM
• Solaris in Oracle VM for SPARC
