vxdmpadm rescan

vxdmpadm [-b] rescan

Rescans all the storage system objects on the computer, including disks, volumes, and file systems. The -b option runs the command in the background.

Is this command disruptive to a Cluster that is online?  Will it cause interruptions to mounted volumes/fs and service groups
